O my God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
I love you all very much. The people who have, or are trying, to remain faithful during these most difficult spiritual times are truly wonderful people: the salt of the Earth, the salt of Our Lord. How they have managed to remain faithful, to reject the world and all of its promises, in the midst of the hellstorm that the Catholic Church is experiencing is a true miracle.
There is a lot that I am weighing, and observing, and pondering, but concerning one bit of business I am absolutely certain: God’s grace will sustain those who are seeking to weather this storm, to leave this life with their souls intact. That God’s mantle is more than sufficient for any trials that we are experiencing. That God will personally direct his beloved through the Great Apostasy.
This little grain of knowledge is sufficient to center everything else. It dilutes the importance of the machinations of the evil men in the Church, in politics, in media. We can observe them with a kind of amusement, knowing that their plans will ultimately fail. We can be assured that whatever trials we undergo in this life are but temporary but God’s love will insure our happiness for eternity.
Safe in that knowledge, there are some things happening that I wish to write about, and so, I have decided to restart this website. Today is the feast day of St. Anthony of Padua. I have felt a kinship with St. Anthony since it was on his feast day that I entered the Catholic Church. It is appropriate that I restart my work today.
